How the USA Accelerator Program helps Hungarian businesses enter the US market
Business opportunities for Hungarian entrepreneurs in the United States
Real connections, strategic support and personal experiences from Florida to Hungary
The USA Accelerator Program aims to support Hungarian businesses in entering the American market. In Central Florida, we experience every day that the interest in the US market is huge. At least two delegations arrive every week from Europe and elsewhere, wanting to expand here. Many are waiting, but the opportunities are still there.
America is the world's largest economy. If you want to be successful here, you should start now.
Why did we create this program?
Based on the feedback, we created the USA Accelerator Program. More and more Hungarian businesses approached us because they wanted to enter the American market. Their problems were similar.
The success rate of market entry is low. That's why we decided to create a structured program. We not only provide information, but also working relationships.
This is what the USA Accelerator Program has become. A bridge between Hungary and the USA, for those who are serious about their move.
What does the USA Market Entry Bootcamp offer?
This program is not a typical business trip. Our goal is to provide participants with first-hand information and connections.
For example, Cape Canaveral, one of the largest logistics centers, is included in the program. We will also visit Space Florida and the KIA Center, home of the Orlando Magic.
Participants will also gain insight into the marketing behind a sports business. We will meet the mayor of Orlando and participate in VIP networking events.
Authentic American and Hungarian experts provide advice. They don't give textbook examples, but build on real experiences.
Many people have said, “I wish there was a program like this. We would have saved tens of thousands of dollars and a lot of time.” Now is the opportunity.
Special cultural event in Florida
The highlight of the April program will be an exclusive event on April 4th, starting at 6:30 p.m. The venue is the Mills Art Gallery, where the delegation will be welcomed.
The event is organized by HunBizFlo and HungarianHub, with the support of the Liszt Institute New York. The photo exhibition “Lights of the Landscape” will also open, featuring images by Csaba Toroczkai.
The exhibition will also feature special Hungarian wines. The aim is to build business, diplomatic and cultural relations in addition to Hungarian culture.
With a Hungarian background for the American market
This is no longer a dream. HungarianHub Business has opened offices in three locations: Budapest, Győr and Orlando.
The Florida offices are official representatives of the USA Accelerator Program and HunBizFlo. The offices operate within the framework of the UCF Incubation Program.
The goal is to bring Hungarian and American business players closer together. The offices also help in practice, not just with information.
Young professionals and educational institutions can also use the offices. HungarianHub also represents VOSZ and FIVOSZ in the USA.
Why is it worth taking action now?
More and more Hungarian businesses are looking to the American market. The USA, especially Florida, provides a favorable environment for growth.
However, the market works differently, the legal regulations are complex, and cultural differences also appear. That is why support is needed.
The USA Accelerator Program helps with these issues. And it makes it available to Hungarian businesses.
Hungarian Summit – the highlight of the year
The Hungarian Summit will be held for the fifth time in 2025, the first in Hungary. Its aim is to provide a platform for Hungarian and American actors.
The event was launched in 2020. Since then, the Summit has become one of the most significant transatlantic meetings.
In 2025, the venue will be Budapest, on July 5. The event will also include workshops, networking events, and presentations.
Delegations are coming from Florida and other US states. The goal is to promote bilateral cooperation.
Message to entrepreneurs
Entering the US market is not easy, but it is not impossible. It is achievable with the right tools, mentors, and connections.
Széchenyi István University, the USA Accelerator Program, and the Hungarian Summit are three solid pillars for every entrepreneur.
Whether it's a tech startup, a food product, or any Hungarian idea with export potential - the American dream is within reach.
