The USA Accelerator organized by US Market Entry Bootcamp Program This year, the event helped Hungarian businesses prepare for entering the American market. The event aims to provide participants with key knowledge and networking opportunities that are essential for successful international expansion. The program was a true adventure, full of exciting presentations, expert advice and personal meetings.

The event was USA Accelerator and the University of Central Florida (UCF) Incubation Program was jointly organized by. During the five days of the bootcamp, participants not only gained theoretical knowledge, but also had the opportunity to directly interact with industry experts and decision-makers who could help them in everyday practice. 

 

Exciting events of the day:

On the first day Carol Ann Dykes Logue and Rafael Caamano In his inspiring presentation, we were introduced to With UCF Incubation Program, which has helped many successful startups. As the day continued, we gained insight into the Precision Periodic and X Mat Labs technological innovations that truly shape the future. After that Roger Colon  and Red Pazaurek shared his experiences on why Florida is the ideal location for international businesses. Dr. Aaron Szabo and Dr. Beata Molnar and clarified the issues of visas and work permits, which were a particularly important topic for the participants.

The second day offered a special experience, as the participants Space Florida visited the center, where they got a glimpse into the unique world of space and the opportunities of the space industry. During the continuation of the program, experts such as Tom Self and Samantha Cornelius, shared their scientific and business experiences, while the Port Canaveral we could also discover its history.

On the third day, participants could listen to presentations from the greatest business gurus. Howard York he talked about the art of building great brands, Rick Rotondo discussed the specificities of marketing strategies in the American market, while Andrew Bekemeyer and colleagues the Orlando Magic basketball team shared his digital and business strategies. On this day, we really got to experience how the American market works in practice.

On the fourth day, participants learned key legal and operational skills such as company formation and tax laws, labor laws, and innovation protection. Imre Borsanyi (IB.CPA) and Juliana Olarte provided practical advice for everyday business operations, while the UCF Downtown Innovation District They also visited the incubator center. To close the day, Eddie Fernandez shared his experiences in the fields of HR and law and Kimra Major-Morris He explained the topic of IP protection. 

On the closing day, not only professional presentations but also Tarik Kabbaj (J.P. Morgan) The presentation by a banking expert also contributed to acquiring the knowledge necessary for a successful market entry. As a continuation of the day, the participants had the opportunity to get to know the mayor's office of the city of Orlando, where Derek Ephrem (Orlando Economic Development) and Eric Ushkowitz (City of Orlando) gave a presentation on the business opportunities offered by the Orlando region. 

In addition, during the day, successful Hungarian entrepreneurs shared their experiences, such as: Nora Szaraz-Galambos (American Shipping Services), Agnes Fray (Intermix Real Estate INC), Erika Csaszar (SecWorldwide & Associates LLC) and Csaba Arnold Cluj (Revive Fitness) the conversation Red Pazaurek The event was hosted by Burgers vs. Goulash It concluded with an entertaining cultural discussion titled "The Greatest Showman", which strengthened the ties between the two cultures.

The future is already exciting, as the Hungarian Summit event will take place this June, providing an opportunity for representatives of Hungarian businesses and higher education institutions to meet with American decision-makers and potential partners. In addition, the Speedway to America Program, a six-week intensive hybrid course, starting in fall 2025. This program is for those who are committed to entering the US market and want to learn more about the market's regulatory environment, marketing strategies, and business networking.
