The USA Accelerator Office was opened in a festive setting Széchenyi István Universityen, which will be one of the most important tools for local businesses and startups to enter the American market. The office is particularly focused on Florida, one of the most dynamically developing economic regions in the United States, which plays a prominent role in motorsports, space exploration, life sciences, technological innovation and medical device manufacturing. Central Florida has a strong international reputation in these industries, so it offers an ideal environment for the global expansion of Hungarian businesses.

The main goal of the USA Accelerator Office is to provide access to the American market for businesses and startups from Győr, as well as students and teachers of István Széchenyi University. The office maintains direct relations with the University of Central Florida (UCF), the second largest public university in the USA and a dominant player in the technology and business sectors. With more than 25 years of experience, UCF's business incubation program supports businesses in entering the market and plays an important role in promoting international collaborations.

The opening, attended by the university's senior management, was moderated by journalist Vujity Tvrtko and a panel discussion took place. During the conversation, Piros Pazaurek, Honorary Consul of Central Florida, Dr. Research professor István Peták and Dr. Attila Makai, a research associate at István Széchenyi University, highlighted the advantages of Florida's economic environment, as well as the opportunities for cooperation between the two universities. In addition to American business relations, the office also supports the expansion of educational and student exchange programs, promoting the acquisition of international experience and the launch of research projects.
It was announced at the opening Hungarian Summit 2025 location and timepoint, which will be held on June 5, 2025, in Budapest, at Corvinus University. The purpose of the Hungarian Summit is to further strengthen Hungarian-American relations in the economic, educational and cultural fields.
