The USA Accelerator and the University of Central Florida Business Incubator Program launched the US Market Entry Bootcamp Program in connection with this year's Hungarian Summit event. During the Bootcamp, the participants concentrated on acquiring America-specific business management, cultural and business development skills, while the last days provided the opportunity to form valuable partnerships within the framework of the Hungarian Summit conference.
First day
On the first day, Rafael Caamano, UCF's field manager, gave a welcome speech. In the morning, Jeremy Sloane, managing partner of Watson Sloane PLLC, gave a presentation on the legal framework of American business structures. In the afternoon, Howard York, the founder of YorkBranding, spoke about the importance of market research during branding. Finally, FSBDC Deputy Director L. Harrison 'Hal' Thayer gave a presentation on strategic planning and go-to-market plans.
Second day
The second day was opened by Rick Rotondo, Vice President of Corporate Development at LifeBridge. Afterwards, Wendy Taylor, CEO of Strategic Online Management, gave a presentation on strengthening the online presence. In the afternoon, Denis Pope, Withum's business development manager, presented the financial and operational aspects in the USA. The day was closed by Ian Johnson, attorney at Losey PLLC, with a presentation on American hiring and labor law issues.
Third day
The third day was opened by Connie Garzon, head of the UCF Incubation Program. Adam Toth, CEO of konverted.io, gave a presentation on the successful product launch for the American market. Dorothea Hockel, AGG's lawyer, gave guidance on handling visas and work permits. After lunch, Imre Borsanyi, the founder of IB.CPA, discussed the legal and tax aspects of establishing companies in Florida. Lou Paris, Economic Development Director of Volusia County, explained the commercial aspects of entering the American market. Finally, Adam Bacso, the operations director of TicklessUSA, gave a presentation on American e-commerce and successful operation on Amazon's platform.
The Bootcamp guided the participants through various aspects of the American business world, providing them with the necessary knowledge and contacts to successfully enter the US market.
